IMO, Somehow a 15 yr old girl sings about a tremendous and mature truth about empathy and deep felt love and she totally and amazingly nailed it. I have to go back to when I and others were fifteen. I know emotions were huge, but were they understood with great introspection?
BobRW Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08473786472219141232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6082679772501308137.post-45121193019674522392015-10-05T14:37:01.357-07:002015-10-05T14:37:01.357-07:00Well, "love is blind," even in a romanti...Well, "love is blind," even in a romantic comedy :)

A funny line? Well, I don't write funny well, but from one of my novels. Amy is hiding behind the bar, hiding from her ex husband, and spying on him. She gets caught by the bartender who says: "Ya don't have to chase that lime whell, Honey. I'll getcha another?" And then he winks and walks away.

I have short stories that are published and not making me any money. Not even sure the anthologies have any readers, besides the authors. I can relate.dolorahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08715849844092553699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6082679772501308137.post-57027156584465896072015-10-05T09:56:00.897-07:002015-10-05T09:56:00.897-07:00Thanks, Bob. I assumed his comment, and the fact he wore no wedding ring, meant he wasn't married. Not that I considered him an eligible man. I hoped to meet one sometime, just not now when my job was at stake. Still, I liked the fact he wasn’t one of those married men who apparently justified an extra-marital fling as long as he left his wife behind in a different zip-code." Bob. Sorry. This was the best I could do on short notice.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11560755679498126758noreply@blogger.com
